Instancare Home
InstantCare is a urine sensor for compresses and adult diapers that alerts you when it’s wet. In this way the patient can be changed as soon as possible reducing discomfort and helping in the prevention of urine and ulcer infections by pressure. It also improves the quality of life of the patient by avoiding the constant and unnecessary checks of the diaper or the pad. The initial Pack for Home care includes
Urine sensor strips
They are disposable adhesive tapes of about 70cm in length that stick on the inner side of the absorbent, either diaper or compress. Due to their great length they can be used both by children with special needs diaper users up to incontinent adults. They are made with the same soft tissue as the absorbent, so they are neither noticed nor produce any discomfort to the patient. The initial pack includes a bag of disposable urine sensors.
Transmitter clip
It is easily placed on the front edge of the diaper, so it is outside the diaper and does not bother. If the transmitter clip is opened or the patient removes it by accident, it will also receive a warning. This is common with patients with Alzheimer’s disease or other dementias. The diaper humidity transmitters have an autonomy of 6 months and a unit is included in the Initial Pack.
Insta-Alarm
When the diaper or the compress is wet, the diaper change alarm will sound and turn on the indicator lights from any point of the house thanks to the wide range of communications. Changing the absorbent when necessary prevents urine infections and pressure ulcers. It has a range of several weeks and is recharged by its wireless charger also included in the initial pack InstantCare
